Autonomous Snowplow
The ION Autonomous Snowplow Competition is an annual event hosted by the Institute of Navigation. The competition was previously held at the St. Paul Winter Carnival, though in recent years it has been held in Minneapolis. The competition invites teams of students and the general public to compete in building a robot, presenting on its capability and viability, and showcasing its ability in autonomously clearing snow from a designated path. These fields are created with static and dynamic obstacles to simulate the challenges of completely autonomous vehicles operating in the real world.
Covid Bot (CARRI)
CARRI is a mobile robot designed to reduce doctor-patient contact during the COVID-19 pandemic. Team members sourced, manufactured, and assembled parts to create CARRI. With the robot mechanically constructed, members worked to create software and clinical testing programs for the robot.

Bot Shot
Bot Shot was a one time event put on by Land O’ Lakes in 2019 to celebrate the final four being hosted in Minneapolis. They reached out to several universities to see who would be interested in building a robot to shoot real basketballs to play a game of HORSE against other universities.
